Classical Beats views itself as a disrupter to the current Indian Classical/Bollywood based dance groups/schools by being a no cost/no membership platform for dancers who wants to realize their passion for dance without breaking the bank.
Latest Projects
The latest project for Classical Beats included a Katthak based dance performance at 'Spring India Day' organized by WomenNowTV. Classical Beats Group performed at the famous 'Union Square, San Francisco' with a dance featuring Shiva-Parvati's Tandava-Lasya.
While Shiva's Tandava is described as a vigorous dance, signifying destruction, Parvati's Lasya is gentle and graceful as it expresses happiness, grace and beauty. The two when brought together becomes the source of creation, preservation and dissolution, thus dawning a new beginning, for a better future.
The Dance is choreographed by Dr. Satarupa Mukherjee.
